What are Virtual Asset Wallets?

Virtual Asset Wallets are your unique wallets in the form of addresses for each of your Virtual Assets. MidChains assigns users on its trading platform unique Virtual Asset Wallet addresses for each Accepted Virtual Asset. Your Virtual Asset Wallet is your secure digital storage for a particular Virtual Asset or protocol. These wallets are uniquely encrypted to safely secure all your deposited and acquired Virtual Assets on the trading platform. Each protocol has a unique Virtual Asset Wallet. No two Virtual Asset Wallets are the same for each protocol and user. For example - in conventional banking, Virtual Asset Wallet would be your USD Bank Account or your Euro Bank Account.

Virtual Asset Wallet addresses are made up of a combination of letters and numbers that you can deposit Virtual Assets into and withdraw from.

You can find your unique Virtual Asset Wallet on the trading platform by following these steps.

  1. Navigate to the trading portal and select Portfolio on the left-hand side of the dashboard.

  2. Select a virtual asset of your choice under the Wallets tab.

  3. Proceed to click the Wallet tab to display the Virtual Asset Wallet of the selected protocol (e.g. Ethereum). The Virtual Asset Wallet will be displayed as an alpha-numeric hyperlink for the selected Virtual Asset.

  4. A Copy icon will be displayed next to the Virtual Asset Wallet address. Click the Copy icon to copy the Virtual Asset Wallet address to initiate a deposit in the Virtual Asset Wallet from an external wallet of the same protocol.

  5. Click the Virtual Asset Wallet address of the selected protocol if you wish to view all transactions that have occurred in the selected Virtual Asset Wallet.
