Adding Virtual Asset and Stablecoin Wallet
MidChains provides you with the option to add external wallet addresses to facilitate withdrawals of Accepted Virtual Assets and Stablecoin on the trading platform. External Wallets must be added to your list of added Wallets before a withdrawal can be initiated. External wallets from which deposits of Accepted Virtual Assets were made into your MidChains wallets may automatically be captured in the list of added destination wallet addresses. Added external wallets must be of the same protocol as your MidChains Wallet.
Follow the steps below on how to Add External Wallets.
Navigate to the MidChains trading portal and select Portfolio on the left-hand side of the dashboard.
Click the Wallet tab for the Virtual Asset or Stablecoin you wish to add an external wallet, under the WALLETS tab.
Click on the Add tab to add an external wallet.
Enter your preferred wallet name and the external wallet address in the Wallet Name and Wallet Address fields respectively. Ensure that the external wallet address you wish to add to your list of wallet addresses with MidChains is of corresponding Virtual Assets or Stablecoin and network protocol. For example, to add an external wallet to your Ethereum wallet list on the MidChains platform, you must ensure that you have entered the correct Ethereum wallet address from your external wallet into your Ethereum Wallet Address on the MidChains platform.
Click the Submit tab to add the external wallet. The added wallet will automatically be displayed in the list of Wallets.
Â
Note: Not all wallet addresses will be accepted as certain activities or services relating to some wallet addresses are prohibited on MidChains' trading platform. The process of validating wallet addresses to be added to your list of wallets depends on several factors and the duration for this to occur may vary.
Whitelisting wallet addresses adds an extra layer of security against any illegitimate activity.
