Secure your MidChains account

MidChains prioritizes your account security. As a regulated Multilateral Trading Facility, we take steps to ensure a high level of security on our platform to maintain account integrity and sanity. We recommend the following to ensure your account’s safety:

Password 

Ensure to set your password to your MidChains account up to the required minimum of 8 characters. A combination of letters, numbers and special characters may render your password Strong. Avoid using passwords that may be obvious to close relations and always securely store your password. You may decide to use a Password Manager to help you keep track of all your passwords.

Two Factor Authentication (2FA)

2FA is an additional layer of security for your account. You are required to enter a One-Time-Passcode (OTP) generated by your Google Authenticator in order to access MidChains’ trading platform. This feature helps to confirm your identity. For more information on 2FAs click here.

Only use devices you trust. 

Avoid using public or unverified devices to log into your MidChains account. Ensure to securely log out of the trading platform whenever you are not actively using the trading platform. This ensures that your account is not compromised. 

Don't share your MidChains account details. 

MidChains will never ask for your MidChains account details over email or text message. If you receive a suspicious email, claiming to be from MidChains, get in touch with us immediately at support@midchains.com.
